The concert at lake George is over for 2023 – whew! It is always a bit challenging for both of us. Jeff is on a smaller (MUCH smaller) piano with different action and voicing – a whole different feel. It’s not as bad for me since I have the same instrument. It’s always good to play here because all the weak spots rear their ugly heads.
But we did well. The audience was very happy and we got what we needed – a list of all the weak spots to work on.
I love performing, so this was a good opportunity for me. I am now looking forward to October 8th in Princeton. I hope to see you all there at the Theological Seminary Chapel at 4:00 PM!

We have finally scheduled the lake performance for this year. Sunday, August 20th, at 7:30. If you are coming, be aware that we will have snacks, but no dinner.
we will play Schumann, Rochberg, and Beethoven. Jeff Farrington, who will be the pianist on these numbers, usually plays something as a soloist, but he hasn’t decided yet.
