Well, yes, another concert!
I mentioned that I had found several fabulous pianists in the wake of Jeff’s death. Nishan Agababian is one of them. He was a friend of Jeff’s and I got to know him as he and I helped his sister sort out Jeff’s effects. He actually bought Jeff’s piano – a 9 foot Steinway – and is currently having it rebuilt.
So, I have to keep them all busy and that means Performing.
Sunday, February 23, 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Unitarian Church in Princeton
We will be starting with the Bach/Gounod Ave Maria with Jerry Muntz at the piano, then we will play a piano trio, Haydn “Gypsy” Op.30 in which Nishan and I will be joined by violinist Ann Marie Pocklembo. After that, Nishan will play three short piano works and we will finish with the Barber Cello Sonata, Op 6 for Cello and Piano.
Admission is free and all are welcome. I think the church seats 300. There will be a reception at a home close to the church immediately following the concert.
